Kemptville In-Home Maternity Session

Family maternity session at home in Kemptville, Ontario.

This sweet family wanted to document their family before the birth of their second child. They decided getting cozy at home would be the perfect location to do so, and I couldn’t agree more!

Why do an in-home session?

I love doing in-home sessions, especially when it involves young children and expecting mama’s. Kids can run wild feeling confident and comfortable in their own space, while mama’s can dress comfortably and show extra skin and belly if they wish. Being home makes it easy to do outfit changes too!

In-home sessions always feel so comfy, everyone always seems to be able to relax a little easier at home. Plus, it’s also easy to include your pets this way!

Kemptville In-Home Session

We started outside in their lovely backyard, before moving inside to get cozy in their living room.

I couldn’t end the session without spending some time getting a few solo shots of mom. She was nervous to be in the frame alone, but relaxed once we got chatting about pregnancy and how excited she was for baby number two’s arrival.
