"There are not enough positive words to describe our experience with Amanda and the incredible art she delivered us!! Amanda expertly captured our wedding day through her expressive, dynamic lens! She led us through the day and helped us remain calm, comfortable, and enjoying every step of the way! We cannot wait to work with her again soon as life continues! Thank you for being such a support and really understanding my vision! Every dream shot was captured!"

Amanda checked every box for our photography needs. She photographed our intimate April wedding, surrounded only by immediate family in a cozy, romantic setting, and she immediately understood our vision. The photos exceeded our expectations! We loved the whole experience and would highly recommend Amanda to anyone.

"We had such an amazing experience with Amanda. From start to finish, everything felt so natural and fun — my partner and I were completely comfortable the entire time. The photos turned out absolutely phenomenal; every shot captured our connection perfectly and felt so genuine. You can tell how much passion and care goes into her work because the final images are truly breathtaking."

"OMG OMG OMG I LOVE THEM. You’re amazing, you make it so personal and comforting that it was so easy to be ourselves! Especially being able to understand the slight uncomfortable feeling of being in front of the camera for the first time. You’re an incredible soul!"

"Amanda did a great job capturing us and making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. The photos turned out even more beautiful than I had imagined."
hey!
When I got married in 2018, I didn’t dream of a big, traditional wedding.
The voices around me were loud, but in the end, we celebrated in the woods and then at a cozy little restaurant with just 10 of our closest people. It was simple, intimate, and full of love. My own wedding experience has shaped how I photograph weddings today.
I know how hard it is to navigate figuring out what kind of a wedding day you want, and that's why today I love helping couples craft a day they’re truly excited about.
My love of travel, adventure and the outdoors, combined with my fine arts background allow me to document your day with an emotional, storytelling approach blended with a cinematic and documentary style. Using both 35mm film along with digital allows me to bring emotion and depth to your images in different ways.
Photographing love in nature is my passion, and I can’t wait to share that passion with you!

"Throughout the process, Amanda was kind, warm, and made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera."
Amanda checked every box for our photography needs. She photographed our intimate April wedding, surrounded only by immediate family in a cozy, romantic setting, and she immediately understood our vision. We wanted something a bit different from the typical “wedding” photos and were able to share inspiration and vibe ideas with her. She suggested splitting our shoot into two smaller sessions- one more traditional with family on the wedding day, and another the night before where we could have fun and capture candid, unique photos true to our style. It was the perfect recommendation.
Throughout the process, Amanda was kind, warm, and made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. She asked thoughtful questions to get a clear sense of our vision and offered helpful suggestions whenever we were unsure. When the gallery popped up in our email, we were so excited, and the photos exceeded our expectations! We loved the whole experience and would highly recommend Amanda to anyone. Thank you, Amanda!

Let's connect!
I love being a photographer; documenting real moments of the magic between people. When you invite me into your world, my goal is simple: you get to be fully present, and I’ll take care of the rest.
No stiff poses. No pressure. Just gentle guidance when you need it, space when the moments unfold naturally, and photos that feel true to you as a couple. If that sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to connect.
Elopements today aren’t about running away in secret , they’re about creating a day that’s intentionally small, deeply meaningful, and true to you. Everyone will have a different definition, but I consider an elopement something that is typically more activity-based than a traditional wedding. It could involve travel, hiking to a lookout point, or doing some other kind of activity that represents you as a couple. This activity doesn't need to be overly adventurous either, it could be as simple as eloping at your family cottage with just your best friends. Elopements also typically only involve the couple, and maybe a few of their closest friends/family.
Absolutely! I totally get it. You're eloping with intention, and don't want to feel like you need to smile for the camera all day. Lucky for you, that's not my style at all. I help craft elopements that leave lots of time to relax and breathe; I specialize in documentary photography, which means capturing authentic moments. We'll stop at certain points in the day for taking some intentional portraits, but the majority of the day will be spent with your partner simply enjoying yourselves!
I sure do! My typical coverage area is in the Ottawa region of Ontario, but I'm an adventurer at heart. I've travelled pretty extensively in Europe, so have quite a bit of experience there (my husband is actually from Ireland and I used to live there!). I am always looking forward to my next adventure so would love to hear about what you have in mind.
Need some inspiration? I'd love to help you figure out your plans!
I always recommend selecting your photographer as far in advance as your elopement as possible, since they can provide so much help with planning as well. For weekend dates during peak wedding season (May-October), I recommend booking 6-12 months in advance if you can. Weekday elopements usually have more availability than weekends if you're planning something more last-minute.

Definitely! I love researching new places and locations, or sharing my experience of different places that I've travelled to. All of my elopement packages include my assistance with finding the perfect location(s) for your elopement day.
Yes, I help a lot with the planning. One thing that is unique about elopements, is that I play a much larger role in helping craft your day. From locations, to timing, to selecting activities to do or places to go, I help with all of it!
