Shayne + Kathleen
An outdoor engagement session with Shayne and Kathleen. Settings featuring home brews in their backyard, dogs, a field and a cozy fire.
Shayne and Kathleen have been together many years and have decided to have an intimate wedding next April. They asked me to capture some engagement photos for them which felt authentic to them as a couple. They didnβt want any frills or poses, and I was all for that! We discussed locations that are special to them and decided on two; the first one is their backyard where they spend a lot of time with their dogs, grow hops for their home brewing hobby, and spend lots of time sitting at the fire, while the second location was a field nearby where they often walk with their dogs.
The weather was dull and there was even a little rain, but we were all very happy with the mood it brought to their photos. Neither of them were very comfortable in front of the camera, but after some prompts and some of their home brew, they were able to relax and have some laughs. I canβt wait to shoot their wedding next April!
